See My Stay at the Doo Dao Doi Farm & Stay in Chiang Dao Thailand!

Last week while traveling North Thailand, we stopped over at the Doo Dao Doi Farm & Stay in Chiang Dao.

Just adjacent to one of the highest mountain peaks in Chiang Dao National Park, the Doo Dao Doi was the spot we chose as it was in between Mae Salong and Chiang Mai.

We chose the Doo Dao Doi based on the review, location, and the Wi-Fi. Since I’m able to literally work from anywhere there is a Wi-Fi connection with my internet business, Sarah and I found the little side patio nook to be a great place to get some late night work done with our clients back in the USA.

Regarding the WiFi connection, there were 2 separate accounts we could log into, so that worked well for us both to levy the load of band with we typically use while running our internet businesses.

The Accomodations at Doo Dao Doi

The farm & stay property has a few different bungalows that you can stay in. The manager gave us the hut nearest to the main house as to get the best WiFi reception.

Adjacent to our hut was the common kitchen, where our light fare continental breakfast and tea was provided. We had fried rice, a salad, yogurt, and toast & jam for breakfast.

Our hut came standard with a tv, fan, clothing rack, queen-size bed on the ground, and the much needed mosquito and bug net!

We did however, not experience too many bugs, though you would expect it!

Of course, when you stay here, make sure to bring the bug spray. We literally worked outside from 8pm to midnight and only had minimal bites after applying bug spray.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay while driving to/from Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, and you appreciate the outdoors, check out the Doo Dao Doi Farm & Stay.
